Ax-ax venous bypass

This is a case of ESRD patient on long term dialysis . Central vein
occlusion was noted. This a axillary to axillary venous bypass with
ePTFE graft was don relieve his limb swelling

Just wondering whether you could have done angioplasty for the stenosis 1st....

oh, yes. great opinion.
always the first choice to do angioplasty plus stentgrafting in central vein occlusion in my clinical practice.

I have a lot of family in the medical field. None of them are surgeons, but most have been in the operating room for many surgeries as an observer. I have heard most of them say that vascular surgery is really cool to watch. Personally, I don't think I could watch a live surgery, but I might have to make an exception for this kind. Would they let somebody who isn't in the medical field observe a surgery or would I be unable to watch a surgery?
